Spearfish Canyon Lodge offers two outdoor hot tubs with canyon views, open year-round. The onsite rental center provides Polaris UTVs, snowmobiles, and bikes for exploring 350+ miles of trails. Guests can also borrow fishing gear for Spearfish Creek or enjoy board games and puzzles in the lobby lounge.

Dining

The Latchstring Restaurant, across the street from the lodge, serves award-winning homemade dishes such as Mountain Man Pasta and bison stew. The lodge bar offers wine, champagne, and bistro-style eats like pizza and cheese plates. Special diet menus and kids' meals are available upon request.

Accommodations

Select cabins and suites, such as the Roosevelt Suite and Berry Patch Cabin, include fully equipped kitchens, fireplaces, and private balconies. Standard rooms like the Premier Room and Calamity Jane Suite offer gas fireplaces and jetted tubs. The lodge is pet-friendly, with dedicated outdoor spaces and dog treats provided at check-in.

Location & Nature

The lodge sits inside Spearfish Canyon, with trailheads to Roughlock Falls and Spearfish Falls within a 5-minute walk. Bridal Veil Falls and other scenic overlooks are a short drive away. No cell service is available on site, and the lodge encourages guests to disconnect and enjoy the natural surroundings.
