Colonial Inn - Your Boutique Escape in Ogunquit

The Colonial Inn comprises four distinct buildings, each offering different room types and decor. The main building, built in 1887, includes rooms with shared porches and ocean views. The Shorebirds building provides spacious family suites with two queen beds, a rollaway cot, and direct access to the pool and hot tub.

The hotel has a seasonal outdoor heated pool, a hot tub, and a fire pit available until 10 pm. Lawn games, a shuffleboard, and picnic areas with outdoor furniture are located on the property. A wrap-around porch with rocking chairs offers seating for breakfast or evening relaxation.

The Marginal Way walking path begins right next to the inn, connecting guests directly to the scenic coastline. Ogunquit Beach, Perkins Cove, and the Ogunquit Playhouse are all within a 10- to 15-minute walk. The trolley stops in front of the hotel, providing access to the Ogunquit Museum of American Art and other local destinations.

The inn offers pet-friendly accommodations in select rooms, allowing guests to bring dogs. Families can use board games, puzzles, and a children's rollaway bed available upon request. ADA accessible rooms with grab rails are provided for guests with mobility needs.

A continental breakfast is served from 7 to 10 am, including fresh fruit, yogurt, muffins, bagels, and hard-boiled eggs. Freshly baked chocolate chip cookies are available each afternoon from 2 to 4 pm, and free ice cream treats are offered 24 hours.
